Petzl Ascender
Designed for ascending a rope, this ascender device is simple to use and highly effective. It boasts an ergonomic molded handle for a comfortable and powerful grip, and its wide opening makes it easy to grasp even with thick gloves. The ergonomic upper part maximizes power when pulling with two hands. The safety catch is fully integrated into the body of the ascender to help prevent snagging. The toothed cam with a self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under various conditions, such as frozen or dirty ropes. The wide lower hole allows for easy attachment of the CONNECT ADJUST lanyard and FOOTAPE or FOOTCORD foot loop, while the upper hole is designed for clipping a carabiner around the rope. This device is available in both left-handed and right-handed versions.
