How to Choose Kids Skis

1. Ability Level
Is your child a true beginner or already cruising blues and chasing black diamonds? Shorter skis are easier to learn on, while longer skis offer more stability as speed increases.

2. Height & Weight
Lighter skiers usually prefer shorter skis. If your child is growing quickly, sizing up can make sense, but we do not recommend going more than 10cm above the suggested size.

3. Ski Style
Park kids may want twin tips. Future racers often benefit from flatter tails. Most young skiers do best on versatile all-mountain skis.

4. Graphics Matter
Look good, ski good. Some kids care a lot about how their skis look, and honestly, that can help get them excited to ride.

5. How Often You Want to Buy
If you want to save money, buying a size they can grow into may help. If they are racing or progressing fast, getting the right size now is often worth it.
