Product Overview

Sterling 9.5mm Tactical Responce Static Rope -61m (2016)

The Sterling 9.5mm Tactical Response Static Rope is a high-performance static rope designed for technical, tactical, and rescue applications where strength, durability, and minimal stretch are critical. Built with a Technora-reinforced sheath, this rope offers exceptional heat resistance, cut resistance, and abrasion durability, making it well suited for high-friction environments and demanding operations. At 65 meters in length, the Tactical Response rope provides stable, predictable handling for rigging, rappelling, hauling, and fixed-line systems. Its low-stretch construction ensures efficient load management and precise control, while Sterling’s premium manufacturing standards deliver long-lasting performance you can trust in high-consequence scenarios.

Ropes weaken over time due to material aging, UV exposure, and environmental factors. After 10 years, their strength and reliability can no longer be guaranteed, making them unsafe for use. With this rope being from 2016, it is approaching the end of its usable shelf life. We strongly advise against using this rope in any climbing, rescue, or rigging scenario, but it is still suitable for other projects such as rope swings or securing cargo.
