Product Overview

Rossignol JibSaw 157CM

The Rossignol Jibsaw continues to set the standard as one of the most versatile true-twin freestyle snowboards available. This board is celebrated for its exceptional power and playfulness, making it an ideal choice for both park enthusiasts and all-mountain adventurers. Whether you're carving through groomers, hitting jumps, or tackling rails, the Jibsaw delivers a dynamic performance that caters to a wide range of riding styles.

Key to the Jibsaw's impressive versatility is its advanced construction. The snowboard features revamped flatware tip-and-tail profiles, which enhance stability and provide a smoother ride, particularly in varied conditions. Serrated Edge technology offers superior edge grip, ensuring you can confidently navigate icy patches and maintain control at high speeds.

The Jibsaw's standout feature is Rossignol's most progressive AmpTek profile. This blend of camber and rocker combines the best of both worlds: the pop and precision of camber with the float and maneuverability of rocker. The result is a snowboard that is incredibly responsive and easy to handle, whether you're buttering on boxes, launching off kickers, or weaving through trees.

Built for durability and performance, the Jibsaw includes a full wood core that adds strength and stability without sacrificing flexibility. The addition of carbon and Kevlar stringers enhances the board's snap and pop, giving you that extra boost for ollies and spins. The Jibsaw's twin-tip design allows for seamless switch riding, making it a favorite among freestyle riders who need a reliable and consistent feel no matter which way they're riding.

In summary, the Rossignol Jibsaw is a top-tier choice for riders seeking a snowboard that excels in all conditions. Its innovative features and construction make it a powerhouse in the park while still delivering exceptional performance on the rest of the mountain. Whether you're an advanced rider pushing your limits or an intermediate snowboarder looking to step up your game, the Jibsaw offers a perfect blend of stability, edge grip, and playful float that ensures a thrilling ride every time.

    Amazing Board

Posted by Brent on Jul 9th 2024

I got the pleasure of trying out the Rossignol Jibsaw last month during Arapahoe Basins late season, it was a slushy day with no significant hits around which seemed like the perfect day to try a jib board. Normally I ride stiffer more aggressive freeride and park boards with a high mid stiffness and more aggressive camber and side cut profiles, so this was a change for me. This board being a 157 also was a very short board for me since I am about 6' 3", but I feel that's what you want in a jibbing board. The first thing I noticed about this board when I got on snow was how playful it is. Its a pretty soft board and it has a very mellow side cut which makes it glide around on top of the snow with basically zero effort. I find usually this creates very chattery riding and very little pop, but what impressed me most about the Rossignol Jibsaw was how little chatter and how much pop it had. The basalt fiber that is put into this board adds a ton of elasticity to this board but it also acts as a dampener for chatter. This combination of softness and pop really made butters shine on this board. Most of my day was spent spinning in and out presses because of how unbelievably easy it felt. It also impressed me to see the level of grab that the edges had. The softest and side cut profile generally wouldn't create a board that cuts, however Rossignol made up for it by putting magne-track on the edges. It added the perfect amount of traction to be able to cut hard while still staying playful. But the Rossignol Jibsaw is definitely not a board for charging really big hits. I found even on mid sized hits landing a little front heavy put a lot of impact on the legs. This is what initially made me dislike the board a little bit, but I found that the butters and amazing maneuverability that was possible on this board may it way to fun to switch to a different board. On small hits I could do rotations that aren't possible on more aggressive boards, it was perfect for a day with no big options, and amazing for a rider who wants to have fun doing tricks, but doesn't necessarily want to do huge air. This board broke my expectations
