The Jones Ultra Mind Expander 158 is an aggressive evolution of the original surf-inspired shape—built for riders who want to push limits in deep snow, steep lines, and technical terrain. Combining the playful feel of the Mind Expander with the stability and precision of Jones’ Ultra line, this board is fast, powerful, and surprisingly versatile. Designed with a Surf Camber profile, the Ultra version keeps the directional, tapered shape and 3D Contour Base but stiffens up the flex with a carbon-heavy Ultra Core and Power Plate reinforcement. This means more drive, more edge grip, and a more locked-in feel when carving, charging, or straight-lining chutes.
