Gibbs Ascender
The GibbsAscender is engineered for demanding tasks such as flip lines and load hauling, where superior strength is paramount. Please note that it is not intended for self-belay by solo climbers.
Gibbs Ascenders are renowned for their exceptional grip, even on iced and muddy ropes. Their robust, simple design ensures reliability and ease of use, making them nearly foolproof. The #3SB Ascender is effortless to assemble on the rope and will not detach unexpectedly. It can be configured using all standard methods for mechanical prusiks.
To convert to Free Running Mode, simply remove the small screw in the spring cover, allowing the spring to rotate freely. To revert to Spring Loading, hold the cam down and re-insert the screw in the spring cover.
